Windows 98/Me Setup Guide
The following guide explains how to set up our dialup service on your Windows 98 or Windows Me computer.
It is assumed that you have a modem connected to your computer and set up in Windows. Unless you have done it before, you may also be asked to setup your telephone options, which simply consists of entering your area code and telling Windows if you need to dial a number (e.g. 9) to access an outside line.
If you get stuck at any time, you may find the Windows Help files useful.
-
Open Control Panel (you can access this from the Start menu or My Computer).

-
Double click on the Dial-Up Networking icon. The following screen will appear:

-
Double click on Make New Connection. A wizard will appear which first asks you for a name for the connection. Enter a name and click Next.

-
Next you will be asked for the phone number for the connection. Enter 0845 029 0116.

-
And that's it! Click Finish on the summary screen that appears and an icon for the connection will be added to your Dial-Up Networking window.

To connect, just double click the icon. Enter any username and password and click Connect.
