Windows 2000 Setup Guide
The following guide explains how to set up our dialup on your Windows 2000 computer).
It is assumed that you have a modem connected to your computer and set up in Windows. Unless you have done it before, you may also be asked to setup your telephone options, which simply consists of entering your area code and telling Windows if you need to dial a number (e.g. 9) to access an outside line.
If you get stuck at any time, you may find the Windows Help files useful.

Open Control Panel (you can access this from the Start menu or My Computer.

Double click on the Network Connections icon. The following screen will appear:

Double click on Make New Connection. You will see the New Connection Wizard appear. Click Next to go to the first step.

First you are asked what type of connection to create. Select Dial-up to the Internet and click Next.

Next the Internet Connection Wizard will start. Choose I want to set up my Internet connection manually... and click Next.

Next, choose I connect through a phone line and modem and click Next.

Next you will be asked for the phone number for the connection. Enter 0845 029 0116. You do not need to use any of the advanced options.

Next the wizard asks for the username and password. Enter anything you like here, our service will accept any username and password.

Next you are asked for a name for your new connection. Enter a name and click Next.

At this point you may be asked to set up an email account. Select No and then click Next.

You will then see a summary page, which also gives you the option to add a shortcut to the connection to your Desktop. Click Finish and you're done!

You will now see a new icon in your list of connections. Double click on it to connect.
